ADDITIONAL SURCHARGES

Whilst we do deliver to most locations within Australia, we reserve the right to adjust shipping charges accordingly or to cancel orders for low freight service areas, remote or regional locations or islands. This is subject to the discretion solely of Fatboy Bikes.

DELIVERY TIMES

Orders are dispatched during business hours. Shipping times are 2–5 business days for orders in NSW or 5–12 business days for orders outside NSW. During peak periods such as Black Friday, Christmas, New Year etc. these shipping times can vary.

FATBOY HQ PICK UP

Pick up is available for all orders within NSW from our warehouse location at 13 Resolution Drive, Caringbah. Please contact us prior to pick up if you wish to arrange assembly of your order in advance.

ASSEMBLY & PACKAGE SIZES

Watch our assembly video here – Our eBikes come 95% assembled, with both wheels attached inside the box. A quick 15–20 minutes assembly is required.

The bike boxes are approx 190 x 26 x 90 cm and weigh 48 kg. We do recommend a professional assembly to ensure your warranty is not void.

SHIPPING DAMAGES

If you received broken or damaged packages, please ensure to take pictures and ask the courier agent to write and sign the damage description.

In case of damage or loss of the product during shipment, the customer may be required to cooperate with the seller in completing a claim application based on the courier’s required paperwork.

RETURNS POLICY

We offer 7 day returns for online purchases only. For orders made in-store, please refer to the store’s specific return policy.

In the event of a return, the cost of return will be on the purchaser. You will be responsible for proper repacking of the product in its original packaging.

If the original packaging is not accessible, no refund will be granted. If the product is damaged during return due to improper packing, the cost of repair will be on the customer’s side.

All returns must have written consent via email from Fatboy Bike Pty Ltd before they are to be shipped back to head office and processed.

Each state has slightly different rules around e-bikes so before using this vehicle, check the applicable local laws relating to your intended use of the vehicle on roads, footpaths, shared paths, bicycle lanes and bicycle paths.

On February 2023, the government gave recognition to the NSW Minister for Metropolitan Roads for amending the Road Transport Act 2013’s provisions limiting the maximum power of e-bike motors permitted on public roads. The permissible level of continuous running power was increased from 250 watts to 500 watts by the Road Transport Legislation Amendment (Electric Skateboards and Bicycles) Regulation 2023

All Fatboy Bikes V2 models have a maximum continuous power of 250 watts at 20km/h, or 500 watts at 25km/h with a max load of 180 kgs. In the opinion of Fatboy Bikes this is inline with NSW EPAC legislation. Throttles are strictly for private property use and should be isolated when riding in public.

Bagus, Scrambler and Harlem V3 models have variable maximum continuous power modes of Class 1 - 200 watts, Class 2 - 250 watts, Class 3 - 500 watts with a max load of 180 kgs. In the opinion of Fatboy Bikes this is inline with NSW EPAC legislation. Throttles are strictly for private property use and should be isolated when riding in public.

DNA V3 model is built in line with EN15194:2017. In the opinion of Fatboy Bikes this is inline with National EPAC legislation.

Before using this vehicle, check the applicable local laws relating to your intended use of the vehicle on roads and road related areas.

The electric motor should not assist the rider when travelling more than 25km/h but does not prevent the rider travelling faster with their own pedalling or going downhill. When using your ebike on private property, the bike can be unlocked to reach up to 55-60km/h.

The Fatboy Bikes are weight rated for up to 180 kgs.
